The idea behind the concept,
the Saint Germain des Prés boutique... Suffused with a free, bold spirit, the new decor for the Tartine et Chocolat boutique in the boulevard Saint-Germain, is a Jacques Garcia creation. The interior designer has a taste for refinement and beauty that has lingered from his own childhood years, a pleasure in childhood objects and the secrets they contain. He creates a way of living handed down to him by his family, which he is delighted to pass on in turn in this natural, inviting decor. Jacques Garcia uses new, unexpected codes for this childhood universe, creating 'a wonderful world with the shapes, fabrics and colours of our heritage', a baroque, dream-like setting.
